My favorite brand so far and the price is great. You cannot just lick it and stick it however. I find it is best to roll, then SLIGHTLY wet the entire, uh, cigarette with a slight twist (the same direction you rolled), then let it dry a couple minutes. That stops it from unraveling halfway through smoking. You CAN buy papers that are thicker and have stickier glue – but then you are smoking glue and paper, taking away from the natural flavor of your tobacco. I guess I’m a purist.

What I love about these papers is that they add no taste to your smoke at all, plus they’re long enough (or wide enough depending on how you fathom it) to wrap your cigarette with overlap. This makes for a more secure hold. What I’m not so fond of is that the glue strip doesn’t hold very well. You can’t always guage how much spit you’re applying when you lick, so if you use too much, you end up licking it all off. The remedy could be to use two papers per cigarette or, as I started doing, applying a thin film of Elmer’s glue instead of licking. I don’t know if smoking Elmer’s is a bad thing, but you don’t need much and the papers hold better. With glue added, though, you need to roll a day in advance so it can dry out

I bought these two compared to the Raw paper brand. And I do like these better. I will use these moving forward. Rawl are still very good but I like these better personally because of the way they burn. And they seem easier to roll to. I give these a 10 on the Royals at 9 on the scale to 1 to 10.

I ordered this to replace King Size Elements paper, which seems to be losing leaves and costing more. While this is the same paper, the sheets are not folded and are considerably smaller. They are packed like a ream of paper, so they do NOT come out 1 at a time. The package slides out of the outer box, so they will all come out at once if you’re not careful. I have to wet my finger to aid in removing a single sheet or I’ll get more than one. I also found both long edges of the paper to be partially curled. I can sort of understand this along the glue edge, but why on the non-glue end??? Nonetheless I like the paper. It burns clean and evenly.

  5. Sparky

I should read closer – aren’t there like 300 in a pack??? I love the packaging – it looks just like a pack of gum. What is really like is their thinness and slight sheen on the whapper that aids in precise placement

Elements are my favorite rolling papers. Very little ash/taste associated with use. As per usual with thinner papers they’re a little more difficult to roll than thicker ones. Also the 300 packs (all brands) tend to have curled gum strips, so be aware.
